Sock it to me!

You know how I had hoped to have a finished Sockapalooza sock to show you this week? Well, not yet. For some reason, I had the worst time getting my head around the heel stitch. It's not a complicated pattern (2 row repeat and one of the them is almost completely purled), I've done it on lots of socks before, I have no idea what was going on. Maybe I was too deep into the red blurry thing and MS3. I'm not sure. All I know is that it took me until yesterday to get past the heel flap. Once I had done that the heel turn and the start of the gusset went pretty quickly. I've got to get going on this sock and finish it so I can get the other one knitted. These are supposed to be mailed to our pal's during the first week of August. Keep on knitting, keep on knitting...

Sometimes while knitting on MS3 and counting stitches I come to a place that my mind goes blank and I can't think what number comes next. It is alzheimers, it is too much OTN I think!!!!! The sock looks great.

The sock looks great. You've got a lucky recipient out there somewhere. Oh, and by the way, shame on you teasing everyone with the red blurry thingy...

Is your sock pattern for sale? I really like the stitch pattern. Thanks for any information you share.

CUTE sock. Is it your own design (no doubt). I couldn't design my way out of a paper bag, but I'm grateful for folks like you!

Keep on knitting, keep on knitting...

That's what I'm telling myself with the baby blanket gift I'm making. The thing seems to last forever.

(Next time? Bibs. Or hats. Or booties.)

Beautiful sock! Your pal is very lucky. I'm also interested in what pattern you're using.

Awesome sock I love the pattern and the yarn colorway. I too say "lucky recipient". Also wanted to say that I am really enjoying knitting my first Mystery Stole. Thanks for the inspiration.

It really is a pretty pattern and the yarn is working up so nicely with it. Is this one of your own patterns?

Love the colorway. This is the first photo that I can actually see all the different specs of color. Very very pretty. I know your recipient will be super happy. You do nice work!

Somehow it doesn't seem fair that over 6000 of us are clicking our needles knitting the M3 stole and you are happy as a clam knitting socks! I just wish I was as talented as you are. ;-)

Are you making those in a size 11? Because I'm hoping they are coming to me. :-) (And I'd love to know the pattern, too. It's beautiful.)
